The series highlights not just aesthetics but the logic behind design — removable inserts, replaceable modules, and durable construction. Every photo connects the tactile world of craftsmanship with the precision of a scientific experiment.
Visual Concept
We built the shoot around the metaphor of alchemy — where creativity meets structure. The color palette draws from deep chemical tones: indigo, oxide green, and burgundy. Laboratory glass, metal tools, and paper formulas emphasize the idea of experimentation and evolution, turning each notebook into a functional object of study.

When design meets documentation — catalog photography becomes more than a technical step.For Equilibrium, clarity and structure were key: neutral lighting, controlled reflections, and accurate color balance helped reveal what defines the brand — material honesty, precision of craftsmanship, and the modular nature of each notebook.
